Although we are still doing seats and repairs, we are not able to continue selling as a retail store. Unpredictable tariffs, shipping costs, and inflation continue to drive prices up (no matter Trump's lies). I will try to keep everyone doing business with us informed.
About Us
The Cane Connection is dedicated to the highest levels in chair caning, rush, and other aspects of chair seating.
Hand-cane, pressed cane, woven and rush chairs which were once common, are becoming harder to find. Few people have the skill and knowledge to do the intricate weaving. Caning and rushing is a unique and almost lost art.
However, We are happy to cane and rush your heirloom furniture.
The Cane Connection has been proudly serving the Richmond and surrounding areas for over 20 years.
Please call first, or better yet send a picture of your chair to 804-664-2568. Shop Hours: Tues-Thurs, 10:15-330. Fridays are by appts only. Now asking for some payment up-front due to recent problems. Do not come here if you are a Trump fan. I stand with Ukraine, Greenland, and Canada. Not the Criminal children in Washington.
